No official source currently supports the detailed claims on this page. Treat them as research leads and verify them in the current game build.
Last reviewedUse the daily gift without wasting the slot
- Choose the character you are actively progressing instead of carrying an unplanned inventory of gifts.
- Open the current Journal or relationship view and check which preferences your save has already recorded.
- Select a confirmed renewable item that is not reserved for the Museum, a request, crafting, or a seasonal deadline.
- Give the item once, read the reaction, and verify whether the preference record changed.
- Stop after the daily gift and use conversation or other current relationship activities instead of sacrificing a second item.
Confirm a preference inside the game
- Use preference information already revealed in the Journal before an old image or tier list.
- Watch conversations for highlighted gift hints and check whether they are added to the relationship record.
- Use Elsie's gossip when available to reveal a current liked or loved clue.
- When a major patch lands, test a common renewable item before spending a rare loved gift.
Protect progress-limiting items
- Do not gift the first copy of an item that may complete a Museum set.
- Finish active requests before giving away their required materials.
- Keep seasonal forageables and hard-to-replace dungeon materials until the next need is known.
- Check late-game crafting before gifting perfect gems, rare ore, artifacts, or unique rewards.
Separate friendship from romance
Friendship can be built with residents across Mistria, but romance follows characters marked as single in the current relationship interface. The current candidate directory includes Adeline, Balor, Celine, Eiland, Hayden, Juniper, March, Reina, Ryis, Valen, Caldarus, and Seridia. Use the live interface to confirm eligibility and spoiler-sensitive unlocks.
Handle conflicting gift lists
- Prefer your current in-game record.
- Check a dated character or Friendship page rather than an undated infographic.
- Compare the item name and patch context before using a rare resource.
- Treat a media recommendation as a convenience suggestion, not a permanent game rule.
- Record a changed result instead of repeating outdated advice across characters.
Verification boundary
What still needs live verification
Gift preferences and availability can change after patches. This page does not reproduce an undated permanent item database.
Official descriptions establish stable scope. Interface paths, balance, values, rewards, schedules, and version-specific behavior must still be checked in the current game build.
