Last reviewedUnlock and inspect the Museum first
- Follow the current Museum introduction or donation quest in the live quest log.
- Use the western Narrows location as the current map cross-check.
- Open every collection wing before deciding that a new item is safe to sell.
- Review unclaimed set and milestone rewards after each donation session.
- Record any completion reward that does not arrive before following an older workaround.
Use a first-copy rule
- Check the collection panel before selling, cooking, gifting, or crafting the first unfamiliar item.
- Donate the first eligible copy unless a current story quest clearly needs it first.
- Keep an urgent request item separate so it is not donated by mistake.
- Sell or process duplicates only after the live set and request checks are complete.
Plan by the four collection wings
- Archaeology: combine dig sites and Mines routes with artifact gaps.
- Flora: filter crops and forageables by the current season and location.
- Insects: record season, weather, time, and map area for missing catches.
- Fish: record water type, season, weather, time, location, and shadow when relevant.
Turn one missing set into one route
- Choose one incomplete set rather than searching for the whole Museum.
- Remove items unavailable in the current season or unlocked area from today's plan.
- Combine the remaining route with a quest, Mines run, farm harvest, or relationship stop.
- Donate the confirmed target before using duplicates elsewhere.
- Update the route note when the live spawn or requirement differs from a dated source.
Check the 1.0 completion fix
Official patch v1.0.3 says players now receive the letter reward for completing the Museum. If a completion reward still appears missing, update the game, confirm all live sets, check the mailbox, and use the official bug-report route instead of assuming an undated workaround is still required.
Verification boundary
What still needs live verification
Exact set totals, item availability, rewards, and completion behavior can change. The current Museum interface and official patch notes override older checklists.
Official descriptions establish stable scope. Interface paths, balance, values, rewards, schedules, and version-specific behavior must still be checked in the current game build.
