Last reviewedTriage the live quest list
- Separate story progression from optional requests and event objectives.
- Read the exact item, quantity, recipient, location, and reward in the current Journal.
- Mark what is already held in inventory or storage.
- Identify objectives blocked by season, story progress, Town Rank, Mines access, or another quest.
- Choose the route that advances the most important available objective today.
Group objectives by location
- Farm and housing tasks
- Town, Request Board, shops, and resident turn-ins
- Eastern Road, Narrows, Beach, Deep Woods, or another overworld route
- Mines and dungeon progression
- Museum, seasonal, festival, or relationship events
Protect required items
- Reopen the objective instead of relying on memory for the quantity.
- Store rare, seasonal, and late-game materials in a dedicated quest category.
- Check story and request needs before shipping, gifting, cooking, donating, or crafting an item.
- Submit only after the live destination or Donation Box accepts the intended item.
- Keep notes for a changed requirement rather than repeating an older guide across patches.
Treat ordinary and timed objectives differently
The reviewed Quests reference says multiple quests can be active at once and do not expire. This is useful for delaying an inefficient detour, but it is not permission to ignore a visible festival, event, or special request countdown. The live Journal and calendar decide the current deadline.
Use current 1.0 patch behavior
Official patch v1.0.1 updated Crown Requests letter text to match new unlock conditions. Patch v1.0.3 fixed Quest UI sorting so entries are consistently alphabetical. If a guide's order or unlock wording differs, use the current letter and Journal rather than treating the old presentation as a progression rule.
Verification boundary
What still needs live verification
A special event timer, Crown Request condition, or later patch can behave differently from an ordinary active quest. Read the live objective before relying on an old route or deadline claim.
Official descriptions establish stable scope. Interface paths, balance, values, rewards, schedules, and version-specific behavior must still be checked in the current game build.
